It’s Not About Religion—It’s About Relationship
In our world, people often say that success depends on who you know. Your network can open doors, bring opportunities, and change your future. But when it comes to eternity, this truth takes on eternal significance.
When you're seeking salvation, it’s not about what you’ve done, how often you attend church, or how much scripture you’ve memorized. It’s about who you know — and whether or not you truly know Jesus Christ.
Salvation Comes Through Jesus, Not Works
Many people try to earn their way into heaven. They believe that being a good person, following religious rituals, or doing the right things will bring them salvation. But Jesus made it clear in John 14:6:
He is the Way. The only Way.
You can know the Bible front to back and still miss the point if you don’t know the Author personally. Jesus doesn’t want your performance — He wants your heart.
Do You Know Him or Just Know About Him?
There’s a big difference between knowing about Jesus and actually knowing Him.
A real relationship with Jesus means walking with Him, talking to Him, trusting Him, and surrendering your life to His guidance. It’s personal. It’s daily. It’s eternal.
Reflection
Take a moment to ask yourself:
“Do I truly know Jesus? Or do I just know about Him?”
Because when it comes to salvation, who you know means everything.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I want to know You more deeply. I recognize that salvation is not found in anything I do, but in who You are. Help me to walk closely with You, to trust You with my heart, and to live a life that reflects our relationship. Amen.
