Temptation is knocking
Paul told the Corinthians, “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind.” There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” (1 Cor. 10:13). KJV
Temptation frequently presents itself—sometimes arising from our own desires, and other times through situations or people we encounter. Escaping it may require distancing ourselves from those influences or simply walking away. We should seek God's guidance and strength to recognize when it's wise to remove ourselves from anything that could lead us down the wrong path.
