“As I approach each task today, I will make a conscious effort to be concerned about doing that which is right in God's sight.”
Life is full of choices. Some are small—like how we respond to interruptions or how we speak to others. Some are larger—like how we manage responsibilities, treat those around us, or make long-term decisions. No matter the size, every choice offers us a chance to live faithfully and honor God.
The world often teaches us to focus on what benefits us most—what is easy, convenient, or popular. But as believers, our calling is different. God calls us to seek His will first, to live with integrity, and to do what is right in His sight even when no one else is watching.
1 Corinthians 10:31 reminds us: "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God." KJV
This means every action—big or small—matters to God. When we intentionally ask, “Lord, is this pleasing to You?” we shift our perspective from self-interest to Christ-centered living.
Each decision becomes an act of worship when done with the desire to honor God.
Living for Christ doesn’t mean perfection—it means progress. Each day, we have the chance to walk closer with Him. When we approach our daily tasks with prayer and humility, God strengthens us to do what is right, even when it’s difficult.
Father, as I go about my day, remind me that You see my heart and my actions. Help me to walk in integrity, to speak with love, and to choose what is right in Your sight. May everything I do bring glory to Your name. Amen.
